ASRSD - Community Education Summit Strong Community, Strong Schools

About

The Ayer Shirley Education Foundation, in cooperation with the Ayer Shirley Regional School District, presents the 1st Annual Community Education Summit.

The Community Education Summit is designed to give all groups involved with the School District an opportunity to exchange ideas, develop their skills, and build and empower positive relationships in order to enhance the mission of the District and the lives of the students, teachers, and administrators.

The Summit is aimed at all vested district organizations such as the PTOs, School Council members, district personnel (e.g. administrators; advisors for school organizations/clubs/teams that depend on fundraising) as well as interested members of the community who are passionate about community engagement and education.

Objectives

The goal of the Community Education Summit to give all groups involved with the Ayer Shirley School District an opportunity to build communications and exchange ideas, in addition to providing opportunities to develop skills in topics such as volunteer recruitment, use of social media, and grant writing.

At the end of the first Summit we want to be able produce a roadmap of who’s who, who does what, and areas where we want to develop strategies to improve or expand our programs. The roadmap will be shared with all participants and used as a plan for our next steps.

Wednesday, August 26th

6:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Ayer Shirley Regional High School
